Steve Campbell released enthralling new song ‘I Will to Love’
‘I Will to Love’ was inspired by the singer’s concern and hurt over the Pandemic’s impact on friendships and family ties. In his opinion, we have lost sight of the value of love in our relationships as the debates over vaccinations, masking, and isolation have taken over our thoughts and strengthened our opinions. He created a fictional character who would not give up on love. The first verse is a lighthearted description of his dating woes.
The main point is made in the second verse. Even when we disagree, we should value our love for one another. “I Will Love You”, the song’s hook, denotes a determined effort to do just that. Over the past few years, there has been a thief among us. We all have a different loss narrative. Perhaps it was watching the grandkids’ birthday parties through glass windows or having to wait three years for the following dirt bike race. Perhaps it totally missed summer camp. Our will, and more importantly, our will to love, cannot be taken by the thief.
