The Kelp Diaries by Jean’s Hill: EP Review
Instrumental ecstasy, rhythmic thrill, musical experience at its finest. Ladies and gents, introducing Jean’s Hill, a stellar artist who’ll leave you in awe with their electrifying cadence. This brings us to the awesome EP “The Kelp Diaries.” It’s filled with fantastic pieces, all ranging from rock, and classical, to electronica too. Thus, if you are entertained by those timbres, I highly recommended you give “The Kelp Diaries” a go!
The opening number is titled “Caught In A Storm.” It paints a picture of a lonesome rider struggling to get through painful weather while his trusty steed marches on. Bandits keep chasing him, yet he won’t give up his guard. Suddenly, a crescendo of basslines and drums enters the horizon and gives the hero a much-needed arsenal for victory. The land is free now, hope is restored, and once more, he rides on. Furthermore, a more bass-infused cadence joins us in the track “Beetle.” It’s a clean ambient tune, with gliding synths, and a calming percussion keeping it steady.
“Kind Of Dawn” brings elements of rock, electronica, and symphonies to the mix. The chemistry is astounding and each instrumental piece has a beautiful synergy with another. That being said, don’t miss out on “The Kelp Diaries” by Jean’s Hill!
