The video for Superorganism’s new single “On & On” has been released. Domino will release World Wide Pop on July 15th.
The video for Superorganism’s new track, “On & On,” has been released. It’s the latest single from the band’s next album, World Wide Pop, which will be released on Domino on July 15th. Below is a link to the video, which was directed by AEVA, as well as a complete schedule of the band’s future tour dates.
“Think of how we look back on prior eras with curiosity and an often rose-tinted perspective, such as the swinging ’60s, but there was turmoil and worries in any era that isn’t necessarily reflected by that nostalgia,” AEVA says in a press statement. By portraying someone in the future looking back on our current day and thinking that the 2020s appear to be the ‘good old days,’ we hope to convey that there is no such thing as the ‘good old days.'”
The band revealed the song “Teenager,” which was one of our Songs of the Week, when the new album was announced earlier this month. They went on to perform “It’s Raining,” which was one of our Songs of the Week at the time. They released the album track “crushed.zip” in April, which was also one of our Songs of the Week.
Domino released the band’s self-titled debut album in 2018. On the CD.
