Wrap Me Up by Clare Easdown: Review
“Wrap Me Up” is a catchy pop track by Clare Easdown that has subtle themes of the dark ambient genre. It’s a synth-heavy tune that brings a strong resonance with Jburnsmusic’s beats, mixing, and mastering facets. Alongside Clare’s clean vocals and her songwriting talent, “Wrap Me Up” is one such tune that will keep you company for days to come.
Clare Easdown is one such artist whose voice and music you’ll remember and look back upon fondly. This is primarily because of her ability to maintain a steady pace in her melodies, making them easy to hear on repeat. In a similar fashion, “Wrap Me Up” allows an audience to breathe easily, and listen with comfort. The ambient pop song has a chill rhythm going, evident from its flow-like state. Each synthesizer verse pertains to a wave or a chord following a drone effect, and it blends excellently with Clare’s soothing voice. It forms a synergy that feels complete, and utterly polished. Nothing really seems off, where the vocal and instrumental combination was an ideal fit, that kept its ambient pop nature intact.
I truly admire when artists and producers instill small details here and there in a track. So, in Wrap Me Up’s exit, a lovely trance melody plays out. It’s an interesting cadence, that carries plenty of emotion. Ultimately it moved my senses, and I believe there is no better way to end a song.
