YUS makes comeback with groovy new single ‘A Way Out’
Belgian American dream pop artist, composer, and producer YUS (real name Youceff Kabal) has just released his gorgeous new single, ‘A WAY OUT’, on which he has been working for ten years and is based in Los Angeles. ‘A Way Out’ is the second in a string of singles from YUS that will serve as preludes to his upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Hyperspiritual’, which is scheduled for release in the spring of 2023. The song was originally written in the spring of 2012 and released briefly in 2016 under a different name before being revised over the past three years.
With the help of his piercing keyboard arrangements, ethereal vocal delivery, and emotive songwriting skills, YUS explores his desire to prevent a relationship from ending because, despite their difficulties, he doesn’t want to lose the other person from his life in ‘A Way Out’. The captivating dream pop album also aims to undermine the fairly common but rarely helpful theme of always turning to outside sources for relationship advice when things go wrong rather than attempting to look within ourselves for the solutions.
