Animals As Leaders, a progressive rock band from the United States, will release their new album Parrhesia in March.
Animals As Leaders, an instrumental heavy progressive rock group, have released a new video for Micro-Aggressions to coincide with the release of their new album Parrhesia, which you can see below.
The Washington, DC-based group recently announced a new five-year record deal with their existing label, Sumerian Records, and Parrhesia, which means “free speech” in Greek, is the first fruit of the new arrangement. It’s the band’s first new material in five years.
“It’s funny, I remember when djent was a joke and not at all a legitimate thing, “Tosin Abbasi recently told Prog. “I believe Animals As Leaders fits easily into the progressive metal/djent genre, but we want to do so much more, and I believe a lot of what Animals As Leaders tries to accomplish is defying categorization.”
Monomyth, The Problem Of Other Minds, and Gordian Naught are the band’s most recent videos.
