AUDREY NUNA HAS RELEASED A DELUXE VERSION OF ‘A LIQUID BREAKFAST’ AS WELL AS THE OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR ‘GET LUV.’
Audrey Nuna has released a deluxe version of her debut body of work, ‘a liquid breakfast,’ which includes seven previously unreleased tracks.
“This is the final installment of the Liquid Breakfast era,” Audrey states, accompanied by a visualiser including video clips of four new tracks. These are songs I kept after the project, but they’re in limbo, not quite ready for the next project but yet deserving of their own story. When I was in New York, I worked on the video with some buddies.”
“‘A liquid breakfast’ is a sign of my adolescence,” she said of the project when it was first released. It’s the music to my journey from the suburbs to the city and back again. I began writing it when I was a child. Even though I’m still a kid, there was definitely some Pika to Raichu action in this endeavor. I wish I could stay a child forever.
“Duality is a major subject in both this project and my life.” Foreign and familiar, harsh and soft, ugly and beautiful, alone and lonely, nonchalant and overthinking I wrote a lot of this project in my New Jersey apartment and sweated a lot of it in my closet.”
