Blue Dahlia by A Tree On A Hill: Review
โBlue Dahliaโ is greeted with a dramatic, meditative opening scene centered on the artist known as A Tree On A Hill. The gorgeous sounds that are resonating through me on โBlue Dahliaโ are simply fantastic, and the entire track has a highly evocative, lovely atmosphere.
Itโs impossible to put into words the indescribable emotions evoked by music by exceptionally brilliant performers like A Tree On A Hill. The song is completely instrumental, a symphonic trance that will inspire the poet and music philosopher in you. The absence of percussion is necessary, this is because the trackโs style and feel would have been lost otherwise. Like a symphony in full bloom in the spring or a brisk reminder that you are human and need warmth when you are cold, โBlue Dahliaโ evokes a wide range of feelings. Thankfully, A Tree On A Hill creates songs like these, certain to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and carry you away to a place where music can be anything you want it to be. The music is comprised primarily of static synthesizers and ambient effects. The song seems like it might have been lifted straight from a film and used to set the mood of a certain moment.
The composer lets the sounds do the work and create an aura of mystery too while at it. The sound artist was influenced by New Wave, Synth Pop, and New Romantic.
