CHEAP VODKA by Nakun: Review
One of Nakun’s latest release Cheap Vodka is laced with the right amount of explicitness. There is a piece of consistent music, a very catchy beat mixed by INRI and Nakun’s rap filled with vigor. Their collaboration began back in 2019 in Toulouse, with a vision to create epic rap. Transcending the French scenes, they have successfully gained popularity among global listeners who love trippy music, and cheap vodka.
The song itself was recorded in their own studio, written by Nakun after drawing much inspiration from his road trip to the beach. We like to think he might have resonated with his past, present and the future, and everything and everyone else that are a part of it while he was buzzing on Absolut cheap vodka (no pun intended). Although Nakun himself agrees that the song is driven from melancholy about life over a bottle of vodka. This precedes our expectations of his previous track Rollback, which almost has a similar beat, only elevated, among many others in line. If you’re fond of anything as dark and psychedelic as early 2000s Johnny Depp, or as we like to call it, Nakun’s album and EP art style is nothing short of it. He’s still awaiting his major breakthrough, which is why he collaborates with INRI to work ten times harder to make French rap a go-to genre for the world. In fact, Cheap Vodka has inspired us to dive into more such tracks, not to mention more of Nakun’s psych-infused creations. What about you?
