Cosmic Echoes by John Leslie Hulcombe: Review
John Leslie Hulcombe has composed a spiritual, and atmospheric instrumental track entitled โCosmic Echoesโ. The song is arranged with one of the best guitar playthroughs I have heard in a while. From beautiful chord progressions to solos, everything feels like a breath of fresh air. The track is almost meditative, you can close your eyes and John will transport you to a place outside the Universe in a special realm where โCosmic Echoesโ will grace your soul.
There are some piano and synth elements, especially for the rhythm sections. Johnโs piece is a genre of post-rock, instrumental music, and a bit of progressive music as well. The piano elements, especially at the beginning of the song are very majestic. It has a rich tone and blends beautifully with the entire song. The interlude in the middle of the song where the drums arenโt playing all that much is interesting. John manages to blend the bass, and two guitars quite remarkably. Drum cymbals are played a little to add a dramatic effect.
Since Johnโs debut album was released in 2020, it has had considerable airplay on independent radio stations in a plethora of nations. Also, his music has over 230,000 streams on Spotify, allowing it to reach an audience all around the world. โCosmic Echoesโ is a perfect name fit for the song, because when you hear it, youโll be like โoh yeah totally this is some magical space stuff bruhโ. Anyway, I loved listening to this track and look forward to more work by John Leslie Hulcombe.
