John Leslie Hulcombe has composed a spiritual, and atmospheric instrumental track entitled βCosmic Echoesβ. The song is arranged with one of the best guitar playthroughs I have heard in a while. From beautiful chord progressions to solos, everything feels like a breath of fresh air. The track is almost meditative, you can close your eyes and John will transport you to a place outside the Universe in a special realm where βCosmic Echoesβ will grace your soul.
There are some piano and synth elements, especially for the rhythm sections. Johnβs piece is a genre of post-rock, instrumental music, and a bit of progressive music as well. The piano elements, especially at the beginning of the song are very majestic. It has a rich tone and blends beautifully with the entire song. The interlude in the middle of the song where the drums arenβt playing all that much is interesting. John manages to blend the bass, and two guitars quite remarkably. Drum cymbals are played a little to add a dramatic effect.
Since Johnβs debut album was released in 2020, it has had considerable airplay on independent radio stations in a plethora of nations. Also, his music has over 230,000 streams on Spotify, allowing it to reach an audience all around the world. βCosmic Echoesβ is a perfect name fit for the song, because when you hear it, youβll be like βoh yeah totally this is some magical space stuff bruhβ. Anyway, I loved listening to this track and look forward to more work by John Leslie Hulcombe.
