Curbi, a UK scene shaper, releases “Flying,” a bass house record.
Curbi, the UK house prodigy, returns to Monstercat today with his new bass house hit, “Flying,” following the release of “Vertigo,” one of his best-performing singles to date.
The track is a complex mix of melodic and heavy sounds that exemplifies Curbi’s boundary-pushing sound design, as the gentle pads and floating vocals blend seamlessly with the forceful bass stabs and thundering drums.
Curbi is continuously defying genre standards and going against the grain of what his contemporaries are making in order to showcase all of the varied flavors of his sound. “Flying” is yet another outstanding offering from the skilled producer, solidifying his status as a tastemaker in the house area with its enticing vocals and driving intensity.
“Super pumped to premiere this new melodic lively music with Monstercat,” Curbi says. It was a voyage for me to create it, and I hope it will be a journey for you to listen to it!”
Curbi is quickly becoming a household name with more club-ready weapons in his arsenal, having played the world’s greatest venues, including Mysteryland and Creamfields. He’s risen to the top of the scene in the last two years, collaborating with Tchami and AC Slater on two blistering tracks. Curbi will be performing live this year as part of his debut European headline tour, which includes stops at Elements Festival, Freshtival, Tomorrowland, and other festivals.
