Doctor Lincoln released a new track ‘Break The Ice’
DR. LINCOLN: BREAKTHROUGH THE ICE
Indian pop-rock band Doctor Lincoln has released a new song and music video. With the alternative/avant-garde band Once Chosen, neurodivergent artist Lincoln debuted in India’s underground music scene in 2008. In 2009, the band split up shortly after releasing the moderately successful EP “Superliminal” on their Reverbnation page. After 2009, while moving between his hometown and other cities, he made the decision to focus on solo music.
Doctor Lincoln began penning the songs that would eventually appear on his debut record, “Wallflower,”. A former cardiac surgeon who received an Asperger’s syndrome diagnosis in 2018, the artist left his practice to focus solely on music production. In 2021, the musician-turned-doctor launched a campaign to raise awareness of the need to include people with autism in India’s music industry.
Since the release of his debut single “Don’t Let Go” from his upcoming album “Will See You Now,” which released in January 2022, he has been growing in popularity all over the world.
This song has been played on numerous Spotify playlists and on international radio stations, in addition to receiving extensive international press. Don’t Let Go, New Music 2016 | New Music 2021 | Rolling Stone India, Rock Street Journal, Sounds Good Magazine, RockNBold Magazine, and others. I’m writing to you about the upcoming release of his most recent song, “Break the Ice.” His sophomore album, “Will See You Now,” which drops in August 2022, will include the song. Lyrically, this pop song with a 90s ballad vibe explores overcoming “ghosting” from bitter friendships that actually mean a lot.
