โFallenโ is a deeply moving track by Stirred by Life. The acoustic guitar intro is arranged by Daren Reece Lamberton and magnificently accompanied by a violin composition, written and played by composer and former violinist Andrew Price, associated with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. The captivating voice of Stirred by Life soon enters the musical arrangement. Thanks to Stephen Boyce-Buckley for producing it, together, the song is set to become a cinematic masterpiece.
Stirred by Life has a mysterious aura about her low, thick timbre voice that is doubled with the slower tempo and the melancholic string arrangement building up slowly and layered to create a soothing sound. She has a fleecy voice that echoes with the credibility and vintage reminiscence emanating omnisciently throughout the song. Underneath her voice, the guitar and the violin flow like sparkling, clear ocean waves on a cloudy, dreary day.
What really helps me imagine the scenario in the back of my mind is the evocative and organic music video, done completely unprofessionally. Not gonna lie though, it came out looking quite soothing for a DIY project.
Stirred by Life has perfectly depicted the lyrics, โClear skies in the morning/Storms in the afternoon/Dark nights keep on coming/No stars, no sound, no moon,โ with the visual demonstration of the ocean waves receding on the shore underneath a grey sky and then changing to several other scenic landscapes of lush, temperate, verdant locations. Overlapped with a ghostly visage of Stirred by Life singing the words into the scene, she portrays the darkness of despair.
All-in-all, the song is masterfully crafted and produced with a sonically sweet ambiance that will have you humming to it for days.
