Father by B. Moyano: Album Review

B. Moyano’s album titled “Father” is an electronic voyage filled with ten electrifying dance-filled sequences to get your heart pumping. In its entirety, there’s a raw essence of cyberpunk and techno surrounding the album. So, if you’re hoping to get in touch with your EDM side, “Father” can give you the edge you need.
The first track “T.136 – Radio Edit” was filled with atmospheric synthesizers, a Eurobeat segment, and just all-around powerful bass arrangements. For some reason due to the track’s name having a similarity with T-800 from the terminator movies, the upbeat tempo felt like Skynet’s club night filled with break-dancing robots. After some time, I reached the melancholic turning point in the ethereal track “I Heard Your Heart”. With a minimal beat sequence and gloomy synths, the track became a perfect background for a light synth bass to cover it. “Dream with Me” is a beautiful track. Incorporating soothing symphonic pieces with tribal-style percussion bits, the song is a stellar composition meant to get lost. Upon arriving at the party that was “Love in May”, dramatic piano notes blended with exotic bass passages created a powerful presence. The beat drops were very crisp and solid, and it just keeps your momentum going strong.
The last track “My Girl” which is the longest one in the album clocks out at a little more than 9 and a half minutes long, and is a stellar progressive house track. Starting off in a quiet space with some celestial-style rhythm sections, before moving on to an ascension segment engulfed with an incredibly moving symphonic arrangement.
