Hedgerow Throne by The Sacrificing Hands: EP Review

Hedgerow Throne by The Sacrificing Hands is full of creativity, purely original compositions by an imaginative soul who knows how to put together nature and synthesizers into the same soundscape.
Every layer, within the acoustic strings and synth waves of the song โKilling a Hareโ is thrilling and sets the tone for the album. Itโs a natural highlight within the album for its narrator-like flow and layers of monologues. In โAphelionโ, you may find yourself immersed deep into the music and tuning of the combination of guitar and piano. And as the album proceeds, youโll know how The Sacrificing Hands is divine and diverse in the way they create music. โThe King is Not Englandโ is their scope to paint a picture of melancholy emotion twisted by innovation. When you hear โHedgerow Throneโ be sure to turn up the volume for its thunder-like percussion, thrilling guitars, and warm harmonies. The beginning will escalate your imagination, putting you into a trance as Mr. Tumnus did to Lucy in Narnia with his tune. It certainly makes you feel that it has been a worthwhile sonic trip so far, getting to the title track. Lastly, โCrossing the Bridgeโ is a beautiful 4-minute treat for those who are fond of unusual combinations.
The album โHedgerow Throneโ is full of beauty and ethereal music. Dripping with an ode to the past, such as the land of the Vikings, it is worth listening to it at night when thereโs silence and your mind is open to visualization.
