Hesitation by Gemïny: Review
I’m completely awestruck by Gemïny’s excellent track ‘Hesitation’. It’s funky, ecstatic, and electrifying all at the same time. The voice of Gemïny is just so darn smooth, that you’ll get hooked instantly. My utter appreciation goes towards the guitar strumming pattern, man that’s some groovy riffs BOI. I’m still listening to the song as I write this review because I want my writing to do justice to the song. Also, it’s kinda good for my flow of writing when I hear an excellent piece just like ‘Hesitation’, sorry not sorry, just admitting some hashtag facts.
The music of Gemïny is a cross between Bruno Mars and the guitar prowess of Nile Rodgers. You know it’s gonna be a banger when a song sounds like these two great artists. The bassline will make your body move, and allow you to dance to infinity. Common guys, please don’t skip this amazing song. The transitions in the song and the way the singer’s voice sways with emotion are remarkable. If I had to rate this song out of 5, I’d give it a 10.
At the beginning of his career, Gemïny the North Carolina-born, South Carolina-based alt-pop musician studied music composition at the University of South Carolina. As a result of being in a relationship where he was physically abused, he found new inspiration for his creativity beyond his love of music and his need to express himself. Before focusing on recording his songs, he performed at benefit events for mental health groups and in cover bands.
