Lil Durk keeps the action in the crib in the video for new track “Golden Child” off his album 7220, dropping Friday.
Along with the fresh visual and song, Durk shared the tracklist and some background on the project’s name.
“7220 my granny address I grew up in that house that made me the realist…. 3/11,” Durk captioned the post. It will come laced with features from Future, Gunna, Summer Walker, and questionable country star Morgan Wallen.
The world of Durk has been a tumultuous one over the last few weeks. Dropping his diss track “AHHH HA,” the Chicago artist showed he doesn’t care offends in his rhymes—including DJ Vlad on “Golden Child,” rapping, “I don’t speak tongues, period/I don’t fuck with Vlad.”
Durkio and YoungBoy Never Broke Again have been trading blows over records, with the latter responding to Durk’s song with his own diss, “I Hate YoungBoy,” taking aim at many other artists and figures in the music industry. Hopefully this beef doesn’t spill outside of music.
