Main Character by Rosse: Review
Rosse is a heavenly musician with an attitude so alluring you can’t help but sway into her words. “Main Character” is a techno dream track, that just oozes attitude. The song has a powerful synth bass, that’ll make your world bounce into wonder. The music of Main Character reminds me of a fierce cyberpunk nightclub, where everyone is partying till the break of dawn. Rosse’s song will make you feel that you pressed the play button.
According to Rosse, the track Main character follows this analogy – A reality emerging in our everyday lives where we treat ourselves as the main character. Thus, all the judgments must stop and clarity enters our soul. If you ever wanted to own the room and ensure your dominant persona is showing then hear the lyrics Rosse sings so passionately about –
“Make room for me, b****
You best believe I’m here
I didn’t need an invitation
Did I make your world stop with just the flip of my hair?
‘Cause now I think the whole room is shaking”
The song has a killer beat and rhythm spanning two minutes long, you’d wish for more indeed and wonder why the song had to end. The structure of the music has genres of EDM, synthwave, and future-esque-themed melodies mixed into it. About 30 seconds in, when Main Character is at its peak, it just takes a leap onto a fire bass drop. Rosse’s vocals blend perfectly with the music, and she’s got style in her voice.
