Coming in with another smooth transitive flow from DJ Concept, “Meditations 4” showcases the artist’s creative range when it comes to music production. As a seasoned producer, he made tracks for well-known artists like ETO, The God Fahim, Keith Murray, Canibus, Blaq Poet, Nutso, and more.
The opening track, “Maskachusetts”, with its sinister and eerie vibe alongside the trap-style beat, shows off the skills of DJ Concept when it comes to music production. Listening to this beat made it feel like something that can be used for producing a track where it depicts the protagonist coming up from nothing and making it big.
On the other hand, “Different Energy” starts off with low grumbles of what seems to be bass, which is soon followed by ghastly vocals sprinkled between the verse and chorus.
“Life Remix” is an eerie, almost haunting track, with its abrupt high note key of a piano and ominous harmonic chords playing in the back. This eccentric track is further followed with slow beats that make the track more sinister sounding.
“No Brainer” is a complete turnaround from the previous track with its mellow eerie tunes in the background. Layered with funky strums and an equally resonating beat the track sounds more lively. “Stand for Something” closes the album with an upbeat, high energy tune that is a stark contrast to how this album started off.
Listen to “Meditations 4” now to experience high quality tunes that are pure bliss for the eardrums.
