Perfectparachutepicture drops blazing new track titled ‘It’s Broken’

Following up on their previous single, ‘Silhouette’, Perfectparachutepicture has returned with ‘It’s Broken’. With a distinctive “stop/start” riff that sticks in the listener’s head and a vocal melody that follows the riff, their most recent song expands on their alt-rock sound and creates a catchy, singalong post-punk ballad. As a result, the song’s mood is apparent throughout, and the track is finished off by an emotionally charged chorus.
The band comments on the song, saying: “‘It’s Broken’ is a song about feeling powerless in the face of another person’s destructive personality that spreads to everyone and everything in its vicinity. The track’s distinctive stop/start writing style was consciously chosen to reflect the theme of the song and the broken relationships caused by the kinds of people who leave such extensive damage in their wake. Did you want this to happen? is a direct query posed to the subject due to the song’s depressing tone. Because surely someone who is so destructive wouldn’t do that on purpose? ”
