Phillip Hill’s track ‘A Good Work In You’ has a music video. Phillip Hill has just begun releasing his second music project, three years after releasing his debut album Alive To God.

Morning motivation comes in the form of A Good Work in You. Phillip Hill’s latest album Reassured has it as the lead single. It’s written to inspire people in the morning, much like Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes’ legendary hit Wake Up Everybody. The tune entices the morning dawn hours with lovely violin sounds. Most notably, it uses Bible quotations. Philippians 1:6 and Matthew 6:34 are musically presented in A Good Work in You. It’s yet another occasion to rejoice in God’s goodness. It’s another heart transcript from Phillip. Many Christians are familiar with Bible quotations. They can now be heard with a new melody and a hopeful message. A Good Work in You combines music and God’s message to edify and inspire everyone with a listening heart. This latest song, like all of Phillip’s, preaches the gospel via music, believing that truth is more simply sung into people’s hearts than lectured into them.
On YouTube, there is a VEVO-stamped music video for A Good Work in You that shows a morning ritual and Phillip singing in a park. The video invites viewers to listen to the song first thing in the morning to begin their day encouraged by God’s promise. A Good Work in You, based on Matthew 6:34, advises everyone to focus on the challenges of today rather than worrying about tomorrow. Phillip, despite being an American, has had the pleasure of residing in Brazil for about a year. In So Paulo, Brazil, he recorded both music projects and the music video for A Good Work in You.
