โIt was like a flash of inspiration that flashed through my head a few weeks ago when I saw a report about Klaus Meine (singer of the Scorpions) declaring โItโs time for a fresh Wind of Change!โ,โ says Andy (guitarist and producer). I knew he was correct, and I started working on the first demo version in my studio that same day.โ
โWe were all ecstatic when Andy showed us the first concepts, and we all agreed that we had to finish this! We recorded further demos and eventually received Klaus Meineโs permission to make and release our own version of โWind Of Changeโ!โ
โMusic is a universal language that unites us all, is understood by all, and brings us closer together. We must all stick together and look out for one another, especially in difficult times like these! This cover represents our personal effort to spreading hope and uniting listeners all across the world, including those outside of Ukraine!โ
โFor these reasons, we used the Scorpionsโ live lyrics for the verses during their April US tour. With this, we plainly declare our opposition to the war. This unnecessary war baffles us; it leaves us speechless, and all we can do is hope and pray that it would cease as quickly as possible!โ
