Summer Wagon by Alex Kate: Review
Alex Kate, is a sensational musician who has released her second single “Summer Wagon,” from her upcoming EP, “Rebel For Love. Following the success of her very own version of the well-known Fleetwood Mac classic “Dreams” and her original song “One Plus One”, she has indeed made quite an impression on social media. It is human nature to feel unmotivated and lazy at times, that’s where the magic of music comes in handy. “Summer Wagon” by Alex Kate, is one of those worthwhile songs, let’s say if I was driving and it came up on the radio, I’d turn the volume up to the max.
The song starts off with a clean muted guitar, and a bit of bass too. All of this is followed by Alex’s clean voice, and it all sounds so natural. Every note, and every word sounds like they were meant to blend together. Nothing feels out of place, and it all fits like one big colorful puzzle. My favorite part of the song – “We’ve got no plans but we know that we’ve just begun
With open heart wide smiles, our heads back feeling the heat”
Summer Wagon sings about the glory of Summer. Alex captures the spirit of the season perfectly through her soulful melody. She paints a picture for the audience and you can’t help but imagine yourself in her events. The song starts with bird noises, which is magical, and ends similarly. I enjoyed listening to Alex’s track quite a lot actually and I’m sure you will too.
