The Oracle by Kurst: Review
Hip Hop aficionado Kurst showcases an incredible flow and talent in “The Oracle”, a fast-paced rap song. This promising Canadian artist is quite the wordsmith, as evident from his poetic approach. With that being said, Kurst’s melodic flair caught my attention instantly when he initiated a rapid ode along with the beat drops.
“The Oracle” is a captivating hip-hop track from start to finish. There’s no shortage of thrill in this song, and Kurst’s performance is simply astounding to hear. I was truly moved by the resonance of his tune, particularly how the rapper mixes different patterns in his verses. At times the flow comes on strong, and at other times the musician blends a bit of sway into the song’s structure. All of it sounds top-notch when the vocal harmonies come into play, synths tag along, and finally when a heavy beat pounces. With all these facets surfacing, Kurst’s voice and lyrical delivery are on point, especially when he’s expressive of the words. It’s right in one’s face, aggressive as heck, and altogether a gripping experience to undertake.
According to the artist in the spotlight, Kurst is an acronym for “King Under Really Stressful Times.” That’s quite an intriguing title! However, it was created when the rapper was drenched in melancholy. Music is for many, a gateway for relief, and has a definite healing mechanism at play. Similarly, Kurst found inspiration through it, and I’m truly glad his bomb track “The Oracle” is making waves in the music biz.
