Viclambart drops blazing new track ‘Ectoplasma’
Viclambart always resided in affluent areas of Paris while growing up. He was destined to become a painter even though he studied at the Beaux Arts de Lyon and started composing electronic music when he was 16 years old.
In 2014, he developed a serious illness, but he battled it by creating a psychedelic universe called ‘The Viclamb’ based on his own psychosis. Though he experienced delirium and hallucinations, he eventually overcame his illness, despair, and suicidal thoughts through spiritual, intellectual, and artistic work.
To celebrate this achievement, he released a new album titled ‘Welcome to the Fabuelux Viclamb’. He was greatly helped in this order by his faith in God. Although always associated with a psychedelic style and referencing both a personal cosmology, his music spans genres such as pop, rap, nerdcore, and r&b. The music on the album tells the tale of Viclambart and his psychotic world.
Two Viclambart characters have been developed: the rapper/singer is the African demon character, and the character who composes the instruments means “the victory of gentle people.” This serves to highlight the ongoing struggle between good and evil, which permeates both human history and morality. He does, however, appear to be content as Viclambart.
On his website, www.viclambart.com, ‘Love’ and a single from the 25-title album project ‘Welcome To The Fabulous Viclamb’ are now accessible.
