Wild and Free by Day Nah: Review
Day Nah shows us her vocal chops and the spirit of blues music with “Wild and Free.” It’s a moving track with innovative songwriting and instrumental sequences that will grab your attention. The musician mixes a bit of soul and the funk genre alongside the blues outfit. Thus, the energy is spontaneous and exciting to hear, and I’m sure you’ll feel the same as well, folks.
“Wild and Free” has quite a natural flow of music, and it’s an easy-listening song at heart. This comes from narrative and instrumental storytelling. It allows an audience to immerse themselves completely in the music and creates a bond. In that regard, Day Nah’s vocals and spoken word poetry are fascinating. Hence, it’s a unique spin on the blues and soul genre. The lyricism and themes are an ‘out of the box’ aspect that Day Nah excels at, and she’s got a tale that anybody would be engrossed in. Side by side, a groovy guitar accompanies her voice and enhances the attitude of her performance. A deep bassline and jazzy drumming keep the tempo consistent, and the entire song feels complete when everything comes together.
Blues music with a poetic twist is what I would like to call Day Nah’s track “Wild and Free.” It’ll enchant you with its cadence, and the musician surely knows how to cast a spell on its listener. Thus, each time you hear this track, I guarantee you’ll return for more.
