Bolle by Domax: Review

London-based multiinstrumentalist producer and recording artist Domaxโs song Bolle is a beautiful collage of ethereal soundscapes, airy synths, and electronic tones accompanied by punchy beats.
Starting off with a fleeting arpeggiated synth melody backed by airy sustained synth notes, the song gives out a sense of urgency and starts building tension. The song soon changes its tone to an upbeat one as the punchy beats are thrown into the mix. The high-pitched electronic tones add a mystic aura. As the song progresses, the tempo gets faster and sends out a euphoric groove you cannot ignore.
Domax takes his time building up the tension of this song. The song spans over a little south of ten and a half minutes but every passage of the song is very enjoyable as he throws in layer after layer of melodies to keep you hooked. One thing about the track that surprised me was there was no harsh bass. The punchy drums did more than enough to balance out the airiness of the track. Also, it might have been counteracting the ethereal sound the track gives out. So, all good on that front. Overall, this is a very relaxed-paced electronic track that slowly builds up and energizes you after a long week.
