Crash Cadet released catchy new song ‘Knew a Girl’
On November 11, 2022, the Boston-based neo-psychedelic rock band Crash Cadet released the single ‘Knew a Girl’. This song is about being drawn to someone who may be a little risky and not the healthiest, but you still find yourself wanting to be a part of their life. feeling of being dragged into something beyond your control while still taking pleasure in the descent.
Some songs are written quickly, while others take years. This song started out slowly. It began as a straightforward vocal and acoustic guitar song, which was then put in storage for about six years. Josh liked the riff, so the band would occasionally return to it and experiment with various instruments and sounds, but they were never successful. The heavy guitars were added, all the vocals were re-recorded, and the tempo was sped up this summer, creating the grungy, raw track we hear today.
