Crystallized by McKeever: Review
A fuzzy guitar tension enters the scene, a rockstar takes the mic, and lets out a roar of melodies. Crystallized by McKeever is the foot-stomping, elevating branch of freedom that the spirit of rock and roll is imbued with. Itโs a pleasantly rockinโ number that manages to send the electrifying tension of AC/DC with the hard rock aesthetic of Guns Nโ Roses.
McKeever did practically everything for the song โCrystallized,โ including writing, producing, and performing on drums, bass, guitar, and vocals. His talent is not overshadowed, but rather shining in the limelight through a gritty vocal sense and the musical conversation that derives from the guitarโs distorted riff. The flow in the lower tempo characteristics of the track has some nice changes that sound like an argument before it commences, and when the crescendo of the upper tempo hits, you know which side of the argument won, and for good reason. McKeeverโs stand in hard rock is a promising one, and it seems due to his blend within the indie genre and a classic rock twist heโs going places!
The music of McKeever gives off an old familiar feeling that schoolโs out for the summer. Books being torn apart, a gang of friends celebrating their youth, and just the attribute of being a hopeful teen that is too darn gratifying to ignore. Set the right soundtrack for these moments, and theyโll be unforgettable. โCrystallizedโ shall solidify all those experiences with a spicy aftertaste of old-school rock powered by McKeever.
