Singer and songwriter Elaine Kristal hail from Staten Island, New York. Alicia Keys has been a constant source of inspiration for this powerful and soulful soprano since she was a child, and she has been performing in school plays and singing in the hallways of her high school, all while sporting a bandana and hoop earrings.
Her father introduced her to Latin musicians like Selena and Janet Jackson, Blackstreet, and Prince, and she developed a love for music and the emotions it evoked in her. She couldn’t ignore the influence of her Puerto Rican heritage on her taste in music. It’s impossible to get enough of Elaine’s voice when she sings because it strikes a perfect harmony between soothing and angry, soothing yet rousing.
