Fairy Tale by Lettie and David Baron: Review
Fairy Tale by Lettie and David Baron feels like opening a book of fantasy odes that come to life in all manner of magic and wizardry. From the sultry tone of the singer to the otherworldly synth sounds present on the track, it is a classical and electronic twist that shall grace your ears from the second you hit play.
With a somber piano entrance and a whispering singing presence that sounds charming and poetic all the while, the song already feels fresh out of the oven and ready to give all the indie enthusiasts a fresh hot take. Progressing through the track made me elated as there was a wondrous sense of rhythm within the minor key progressions making the song jam-packed with eeriness. The abundance of its track is felt as if reciting a book of poems imbued with the touch of harmonies.
As an artist who delves deep into instrumentation and progression, it is my passion to seek out tracks that mimic the value of ascension. Ascension in music can be anything it might be a strum of a chord. Or in this case, Fairy Tale had a very cyberpunk-dystopian rise to it. The sequence was quite a nice and refreshing turnaround that made the melody truly stand out. The track is available for streaming and I urge you all to intentionally listen to the song, and be like a sponge ladies and gents, just soak it all in.
