Ford Motel by Scot Free Sessions: Review
As healing, enlightening and enchanting as it would sound, “Ford Motel” is a summer delight for open roads, open minds and open people that everyone should at least give it a go (or put it on repeat for sure!) by the acclaimed Scot Free Sessions. Known for being the Five-Time Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition with prestigious judges like Coldplay and Tom Waits, Scot Free Sessions is where free-spirited musicians collaborate to create a distinct Americana fusion: rock and country with a twist. Even though they just debuted earlier this year, no doubt that they can get recognized again by their signature sound and song writing which has been receiving accolades for years now. And “Ford Motel” is another timely pick for the summer with endless road trips soaked in the California carefree sun.
Quotable lyrics:
“Just give me pavement
And rubber and the radio
Another tank of gas
And away I go
I can’t tell you how good
The road makes me feel
Let’s drive!”
Country music always radiates a feel-good energy, and there is nothing that can hold back a road trip with no definitive destination and a sing-along track to hum to in the car, and “Ford Motel” is exactly the one. “Ford Motel” is currently the first single in their upcoming full-length project, “Edmonton Skyline” which will be released soon later this year. With all the hype created by “Ford Motel”, country music fans definitely would seek Scot Free Sessions.
“Ford Motel” is available on streaming platforms including YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music.
