Nikki Oliveira released catchy new song ‘How Things Used To Be’
A brand-new song titled ‘How Things Used To Be’ has been released by Nikki Oliveira, a 26-year-old singer-songwriter originally from Rio de Janeiro who is currently based in Curitiba. The artist’s third official release, following ‘The Music In Me’ and ‘My Second Home’, was the song that was made available on March 10th, 2023.
When Nikki was ten years old, she first became interested in music after watching a music video for Jesse McCartney’s former boyband Dream Street. Her desire to share love and have a positive impact on people’s lives has kept her committed to pursuing a career in music ever since.
Since she was 15 years old, Nikki has been writing songs. Her most recent song, ‘How Things Used To Be’, is a nostalgic and introspective look back at the friendships she had as a child but didn’t maintain into adulthood. Guitars and strings dominate the song’s intimate and dreamy atmosphere, which serves to highlight its reflective and sentimental undertone.
‘The Music In Me’, Nikki’s debut single, had a more electronic pop feel and was quickly picked up by Brazilian local radio stations. Her second single, ‘My Second Home’, was a jazzy pop ballad that became popular worldwide but received less attention in her home country. Nikki is thrilled to convey her unique and heartfelt message to listeners all over the world with ‘How Things Used To Be’.
