Pull me down by Ari Tahan: Review
Sometimes, we crave for being understood. A feeling of assurance and ease is all that matters in this frantic life. When we finally find the right person, we are tremendously pleased and content, and they might take a turn to neverland and leave us with nothing but memories. This certain feeling breeds anxiety and makes us apathetic and blunt. And the song is about being invincible in a narcissistic relationship.
“You’re too shallow for a deep soul Baby. Feel like I’m diving into a big black hole nowhere to be found” The words speak the heart out of the singer. The tone of the lyrics shows the bottled-up anger and frustration buried inside her that gravely wants to come out. And possibly through this song. Because why not?
“Pull me Down” by Ari Tahan is a soulful pop number. It has a heavy emphasis on the rhythm section. The intense vocal is calling out for a response from the listeners. Also, it has a fresh flavor from the ‘60s with a blend of the modern pop tune.
Ari Tahan is highly influenced by Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, Adele, and many more. She has played at the BBC introducing Tobacco Dock and Live Lounge Brookland’s Radio. Also synced on the ITV2 Reality TV show. This song was written and composed in light of her personal love experiences in life which gave her wings to fly again.
