Red Handed by Pisceze: Review

Following the success of her previous single Dodging Bullets, the Canadian RnB artist catches everyone jamming to her latest single, Red Handed.
You can guess from the title of the song that this is a story of catching one’s romantic partner in the act of cheating. Anyone who has ever been in this situation knows how emotional, heartbreaking, ugly and violent it can be. This RnB queen from Toronto recreates this universally relatable experience with this new song. The artist herself explained, “his one’s for the good girls that got played and are still solid. I can’t wait till y’all hear this and share this experience with me!”
Quotable Lyrics:
“You lost your braggin’ rights, really f**kin’ with the wrong one
Now everybody know that you a clown, I’m done”
The story the song tells may not be a pleasant one to be in, but it is better to walk away where you’re not treated right. The song starts with a guitar arpeggio setting up for Pisceze’s angelic vocals to take the stage. The melodies and harmonies captivate the listener and keep them mesmerized all through the song. The song’s calm and beautiful tone manages to mask its underlying bitterness and rage. One might even mistake it for a love song because of the smoothness of the vocals until they start paying attention to the lyrics. Only then do the true emotions start unmasking themselves. The song has an accompanying music video released visualizing the story. She has been highly praised as one of the most promising newcomers by several outlets and we can see why. She is most definitely an artist to keep an eye out for.
