Out of Houston, Blossom Aloe arrives with The Silver Lining Shines Bright, an album born from a year that turned everything upside down. Released on February 13, 2026, the record channels lead singer Mia Jane Coyle’s whirlwind season of first-year sobriety, the loss of her father, and falling in love with the man who would become her husband—all at once. Heavy stuff, sure, but instead of sinking under it, the five-piece, Mia, Casimiro “Josh” Vargas, Henry Grey Huelskamp, Aaron Ruiz, and Ryan Faulkenberry, lean into the light peeking through the cracks. Written collaboratively and recorded in their homes (drums booming in an open living room, the rest crafted in their own studio sanctuary), the album feels intimate, hands-on, and fiercely personal. Even the vinyl was a labor of love, mixed to carry that warm, slightly lo-fi analog glow.
It kicks off with “Nothing to Do,” all vivid, shimmery guitars and thumping, momentous beats. Mia’s voice dances lightly over the groove, catchy and bright, like she’s chasing the sun even when clouds hover nearby. The energy feels effortless, but there’s a heart pulsing underneath.
By the time we hit “Dead Man,” we have punchy, vibrant melodies driving the track while Mia soars with a thicker, more urgent tone. “And I can’t seem to lose it, but I lost my fucking mind,” she belts, raw and unfiltered. Then comes the quietly devastating, “I always leave my door unlocked.” It’s grief, guilt, memory—all tangled together.
Later, “Meltaway” softens the edges with punchy drums and soulful backing “tututu” vocals that swirl behind the rich delivery. “Baby, I just wanna hold you back / It’s getting late, why don’t you spend the night?” Josh sings, and suddenly we’re in the glow of new love, fragile and electric.
That’s the magic here: sorrow and sweetness coexist. Blossom Aloe doesn’t pretend life is neat—they just remind us that sometimes, the silver lining really does shine bright.

An amazing album from a band that pours everything they’ve got into their art.
