Ambassador, Vol. 2 by Anthony Mascia: Album Review
Anthony Mascia is a pop-rock sensation ready to take the music industry by storm with his fresh album. It’s a record composed of beautiful melodic layers with an evocative voice at the center. Aside from that, Anthony was joined by Richard Pilkington, Ziv Shalev, and Benjamin Rogers, who all played a crucial role in polishing each track, which amounts to their musical resonance.
“If This Is It,” a beautiful pop song with catchy vocal parts, opens the album with an enchanting vibe. You can truly hear the singer’s heart and soul in the melody, it excites your senses and leaves you craving for more. Up next was the cinematic track “Unknown Love.” It initiates with a faded orchestral sequence and a poetic verse. Anthony paves the way for a truly sensational melody to form, which is a combination of solid drums and symphonies. Furthermore, an intimate cadence forms in the piece “What I Need,” where a soft piano segment calms our woes, and adding to that effect was a truly moving narrative. Just when I thought the album’s burning passion had come to a halt, out came the heated energy of “Haven’t Changed, Not the Same.” A deep guitar sequence forms a bond with a catchy vocal spirit, and the chemistry is too darn infectious to pass up.
“Daybreak” signals the end of the album. This final track is a hopeful song with bright chords and a positive musical theme. Altogether, it was a fitting sendoff for Anthony’s stellar album.
