Deepest Condolences by Call in Dead: Album Review
Call in Dead is here to thrill your punk and rock senses with their hardcore, skate punk, thrash, punk-rock genres across 16 songs in their newly released album “Deepest Condolences”.
The Orlondo-based group is absolutely kick-ass and treats us with one banger with another thrasher! The album combines elements of Punk/Ska with those of Metal, unleashing a frenetic surge of rage, chaotic disillusionment, and the need to know the truth. They feel strongly about many social and political topics, and they want the world to know how they feel about those subjects. The lyrics are being “spit” out by the vocalist in the classic punk fashion of the 1970s, and the only thing you can do is keep quiet and listen to how the politically incorrect world reacts to racism, in the many different tracks. It’s enjoyable to listen to overall, with decent sound quality, and a fine illustration of the anarchic, nostalgic spirit of punk rock.
A truly one-of-a-kind band fusing together the best of punk, rock, psychobilly, and metal, four professionals from the US pooled their musical skills into something that is at once fresh and exciting, and utterly amazing. I’m growing fond of Call in Dead because their sound is rough, gritty and boasts a hefty production, and is out to get all the other strong punk groups and bands that tread lightly with metal soundscapes. Through “Deepest Condolences”, they might just raise the dead with their punk electric guitar riff solos and hard-hitting drum beat.
