“Howl” by Brooklyn-based alternative rock artist Lord Sonny The Unifier has a pure rock ‘n’ roll, post-punk, and hard rock feel to it. The one-of-a-kind rock signature of Lord Sonny the Unifier delivers an original psychedelic vibe with a Brooklyn feel. It was done by taking influences from the alternative, post-punk, hard rock, psychedelic, and classic rock genres to create a great environment.
The song starts off with a drum roll and then moves on to include some bass, as it’s done in many powerful rock songs. They lay down the fine, thick beat and the hard-hitting drums that fill the atmosphere. Moreover, the powerful vocal can go up and down with perfect control accompanied by some shouting and howling. The bass work is very groovy and energetic, along with the kickass guitar solo, which is full of “the feels” evoking bursts of emotions in the listener. The keyboard solo is extraordinary, filled with licks and runs. At times, the vocal sounds like he’s howling which adds an extra attention-grabbing touch to the song.
With the impressive composition that Lord Sunny the Unifier came up with, it was a treat to listen to. It was difficult not to do a subtle headbang while listening to this musical number. Thanks to a great guitar solo, a majestic keyboard solo, and an impressive vocal delivery this awesome rock track go in many different directions.
