In ‘Shape & Form,’ Two Feet presents his most comprehensive body of work to date.
Two Feet, a TSIS regular and live electronic pioneer, announced his next studio album with his track “Tell Me The Truth” a few weeks ago. We didn’t have to wait long because Shape & Form, his delightfully transitioning fourth full-length album, was released this weekend.
The versatile performer taps into both signature and wholly new styles on the album. For this project, Two Feet’s credo was “whatever comes, comes, and whatever goes, goes.” That is evident as we are tugged in all directions by heartache, euphoria, anger, despair, love, and hate. The project’s sound is described as “an eclectic mix” that includes “house records, shoegaze rock, new experimental instruments, and vintage Two Feet sounds.”
With his raspy vocals, smokey guitar melodies, and heavy percussion, Two Feet’s characteristic downtempo style is featured on this new track. While his songwriting appears to be improving, he doesn’t scrimp on the song’s catchiness, generating a melody that you can’t help but sing along to.
This new album will be “an eclectic mix, encompassing house recordings, shoegaze rock, new experimental instruments, and iconic Two Feet sounds,” according to a press statement from Two Feet. Shape & Form will be released on May 13th. You may listen to “Tell Me The Truth” in the player below. Enjoy! Tell Me The Truth – Two Feet
