Remi Wolf Drops a new Chaotic ‘Cake’ Video. The singer’s debut album has been expanded to include the previously released hit ‘Michael,’ three new tracks, and an intimate live version of ‘Street You Live On.’
Remi Wolf’s critically acclaimed debut album Juno has been given the deluxe treatment, with a new extended edition includes her recent single “Michael,” three new records, and an intimate live rendition of the album’s original closer “Street You Live On.”
“I intended the new songs on the Juno Deluxe CD to serve as bookends to the Juno era of my life’s writing process,” Remi Wolf said in a statement. “‘Fired’ and ‘Sugar’ were written before I started working on Juno really, whereas ‘Cake’ and ‘Michael’ were written after the album was released.”
“I have so much nostalgia for these tunes,” she adds. They transport me to the emotional and physical state in which I was during, during, and after one of the most challenging, creative, and exciting periods of my life. I hope you recognize some of yourself in the words when you hear them, and most importantly, dance and sing!”
Juno (Deluxe) is released alongside Haley Appell’s crazy music video for “Cake.” Remi Wolf is the star of a glitchy night that includes birthday cake-wielding clowns, high-speed drives through congested streets, and setting a house on fire.
Remi Wolf spirals into lunacy in her pursuit for love in “Michael,” which debuted with an equally insane image. “The message has come to me now after a couple months,” she said in a statement about the song. The song depicts a frantic and infatuated lady who loves the rush of Michael’s attention and is willing to go to any length to obtain it. “I wanted the video to portray this mother frantically searching the city for Michael,” says the director.
