talk to me by andre lou: Review
Music is the gateway to expressive freedom, and there’s nothing more liberating than creating a melody that is yours. What’s even more satisfying is when you’re creative enough to generate various genres into the mix, and it results in something incredible. This brings us to indie-pop artist andre lou AKA Louis Jullien and his song “talk to me.” It’s a lovely track with elements of funk, jazz, and RnB too, thus you can imagine why I said the things I said before. I’m pretty impressed by his song, and can’t wait to tell you all how wonderful it feels to hear such a fresh number.
A mysterious synth and vocal introduction commences in “talk to me” and leads to a fat bassline. Instantly I knew the magic of Louis’ melody and didn’t hesitate to hear it on repeat from then on. When he started singing the poetry overflowed and connected beautifully with each rhythm section. Speaking of which, aspects of jazz were thoroughly present in the song, and it derived mostly from the keys/synth arrangements. Hearing it all was splendid, even more so when the bridge came on. A psychedelic and ambient section took charge in the middle of the track. A trippy synthesizer and smooth guitar portions joined together with Louis’ voice and generated an aura that was truly eargasmic.
Please don’t miss out on this indie stunner! If I were you folks, I’d quickly head on over to hear “talk to me” by andre lou!
