Bleed by Wolf: Review

Wolf is a metal vocalist and rapper in addition to being a dubstep producer. He is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is a solid artist filled with enthusiasm. Wolf’s pursuit of performing someday at a world-renowned prestigious music festival is quite apparent, and I’m positively certain he’ll reach that goal! In his original EP entitled “Bleed”, he summons the beast within and incorporates badass death metal riffs, intense growling, and fluid rap sessions.
The EP has four tracks – “A.V.B”, “Maxxed Out”, “Garbage”, and “Mentality”. Every track is a brutal balance between screamo and rap verses. The dubstep beat drops blend excellently with the heavy tone of the guitar. “Mentality” is a bit more mellow than the other tracks as it has elements of synth within it. What I admire about Wolf is his ability to process equal amounts of metal screams and fantastic rap sections. Sometimes, it’s either one or the other. Kinda reminds me of the good old days of Limp Bizkit.
Wolf’s growling style feels like a deadlier version of howling at the moon, and it sounds absolutely epic. As a metalhead myself, I can proudly say that I got to hear Wolf’s music because it has been an absolute delight. I truly wish the best for the artist and hope he continues to make ground-breaking music. If you’re in the mood to hear an original sound, then look no further than Wolf’s EP “Bleed”.
